The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Department of Disaster Coordination (AKOM) has shared its weekly weather forecast for the city. According to the report, no precipitation is expected in Istanbul throughout the week, with the weather forecast to be largely sunny and warm.

According to AKOM's assessment, the northeasterly wind (poyraz) will increase in intensity starting from the middle of the week. It was stated that starting Wednesday, the wind could occasionally blow at speeds of 30-60 kilometers per hour, reaching storm force.

The air temperature in the city, measured at 25 degrees this morning, is expected to rise to 31 degrees at noon, then drop back to 25 degrees in the evening and 23 degrees at night. It was reported that the humidity level will vary between 50 and 90 percent, and the sea water temperature is 24 degrees.

Temperatures are expected to remain in the 30-33 degree range throughout the week. It is assessed that the wind coming from the north will bring relatively cooler air to Istanbul, limiting the rise in temperatures.

According to AKOM's weekly forecast, the weather will be slightly cloudy and clear on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, and partly cloudy over the weekend. The report did not include any expectation of precipitation for the entire week.
