According to the forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The country is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with precipitation expected in the south and east of the Marmara region, the Aegean, the Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, the Western Black Sea, the inner parts of the Central and Eastern Black Sea, Eastern Anatolia (except Van), Southeastern Anatolia (except Mardin), and the surroundings of Samsun. The precipitation is expected to be in the form of rain and thunderstorms, with sleet in some places in the east of Central Anatolia, the north and east of Eastern Anatolia, and the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea, and snow at higher altitudes. Precipitation is expected to be heavy in the surroundings of Mersin and Adana, as well as the coastal parts of Hatay. Haze and occasional fog are expected in the inner and eastern parts during the morning and night hours.

Air temperatures are expected to remain around seasonal norms.

The wind is expected to blow generally from southerly directions, light to occasionally moderate, and locally strong (40-60 km/h) in the inner parts of the Central Black Sea.

The MGM report issued a yellow-coded warning for Mersin. On the other hand, rain and thunderstorms are expected in Bursa, Çanakkale, Istanbul, Denizli, İzmir, Afyonkarahisar, Manisa, Adana, Antalya, Hatay, Isparta, Ankara, Çankırı, Eskişehir, Kayseri, Bolu, Düzce, Sinop, Zonguldak, Amasya, Samsun, Diyarbakır, Gaziantep, and Siirt, while sleet and snowfall are expected in Kayseri, Erzurum, and Kars.
