According to the assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The country is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with precipitation expected in the Marmara, Aegean, Western Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, the southern and western parts of Eastern Anatolia, Southeastern Anatolia, and the surroundings of Kahramanmaras, Osmaniye, Hatay, Bolu, and Duzce. The precipitation, which will generally be in the form of rain and showers, and sleet and snow in the eastern parts of the country, is expected to be locally heavy in the surroundings of Malatya, Elazig, Sirnak, Hakkari, Adiyaman, Diyarbakir, and Mardin, as well as the northern districts of Sanliurfa. There is a risk of avalanches in the high parts of the inner Eastern Black Sea region and in the sloping areas with high snow cover in the eastern part of Eastern Anatolia.
Air temperatures are expected to remain above seasonal norms in the northern, inner, and western regions, and around seasonal norms in the eastern parts.
The wind is expected to blow from southerly directions, and from northerly directions in the eastern Mediterranean and the west of Southeastern Anatolia, generally light to occasionally moderate, and strong (40-60 km/h) in the Coastal Aegean and the inner parts of the Central and Eastern Black Sea regions.
