According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, the northern and eastern parts of the country are expected to be partly to very cloudy, with local showers and thunderstorms expected in the coastal areas of the Central and Eastern Black Sea, Artvin, Kars, Ardahan, Iğdır, the eastern part of Van, the western districts of Balıkesir, the surroundings of Edirne, the Taurus Mountains region of the Eastern Mediterranean, and the west of Kahramanmaraş, while other areas are expected to be slightly cloudy and clear.
