Avalanche in Yüksekova captured on camera!

In the Yüksekova district of Hakkari, the moment an avalanche occurred due to heavy snowfall was recorded second by second by a citizen.

Recent heavy snowfall in and around Hakkari has led to avalanches. One of these avalanches was captured by Sinan Gezer, who lives in the Kolbaşı village of Yüksekova district. While on the balcony of his house, Gezer recorded the avalanche descending from the mountain with his mobile phone.

Stating that the avalanche reached near the village, Sinan Gezer said, "There have been several avalanches in the region in recent days. I was on the balcony this morning and suddenly saw the avalanche coming down from the mountain. I immediately recorded those moments. Thank God, it didn't last long and it came close to the village."

The footage recorded by Gezer once again revealed how impressive and dangerous natural events in the region can be.
