Forest fire breaks out in Bergama
A forest fire has broken out in the Bergama district of İzmir. Aerial and ground interventions are underway to combat the flames.

A fire broke out for reasons yet to be determined in a forested area in the Ilgındere neighborhood of İzmir's Bergama district.
Four aircraft, 4 helicopters, 27 water tenders, 8 water supply vehicles, and 6 bulldozers belonging to the İzmir Regional Directorate of Forestry have been dispatched to the region.
EFFORTS TO BRING UNDER CONTROL ARE ONGOING
The Regional Directorate of Forestry reported that the first intervention to the fire, which started at 14:00, was carried out at 14:15. Teams are continuing their efforts to bring the fire under control.
