A fire has broken out in a wooded area in İzmir. The fire started at 15:13 in a wooded area located in the Gülbahçe Neighborhood of the Urla district.
Teams from the İzmir Regional Directorate of Forestry have begun responding to the fire, which started for an as-yet-unknown reason, with 8 aircraft, 6 helicopters, 21 fire trucks, 8 water tenders, and 3 bulldozers.
Efforts to bring the fire under control are ongoing.
