A fire broke out for an unknown reason in the evening hours in a forest area near Karaköy Neighborhood in the Susurluk district of Balıkesir.
Teams affiliated with the Regional Directorate of Forestry were dispatched to the area where the flames are active.
The teams are continuing their efforts to extinguish the flames. Local residents are also supporting the forest fire suppression efforts.
