Downpour warning from the Meteorological Service

The General Directorate of Meteorology has released its weather report for January 3. According to the report, downpours are expected in Tekirdağ, Çanakkale, Yozgat, Sivas, Kayseri, Erzincan, Erzurum, Ağrı, Ardahan, and Antalya, while sleet and snow are expected in the interior parts of the Eastern Black Sea region, Eastern Anatolia, and around Sivas. Temperatures are expected to remain above seasonal norms across the country.

According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM), the country is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with precipitation expected in the eastern part of the Marmara region, the Aegean coast, the Eastern Mediterranean, the Black Sea, the southern part of Eastern Anatolia, Southeastern Anatolia, the surroundings of Tekirdağ, Çanakkale, Yozgat, Sivas, Kayseri, Erzincan, Erzurum, Ağrı, and Ardahan, as well as the eastern districts of Antalya.
