According to the latest evaluations made by the General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM); the northern and inner parts of the country and the inner and eastern parts of the Mediterranean are expected to be partly to very cloudy, with local showers and thunderstorms expected in Thrace, the east of the Eastern Mediterranean, the northeast of Central Anatolia, the Central and Eastern Black Sea, the north of Eastern Anatolia, as well as the surroundings of Istanbul, Çanakkale, Zonguldak, Bartın, Karabük, Kastamonu, Sinop, the south of Niğde, and the east of Kayseri, while other places are expected to be slightly cloudy and clear.

Precipitation is expected to be heavy in the coastal areas of the Central and Eastern Black Sea and the surroundings of Sinop and Ardahan, and locally very heavy in the surroundings of Artvin and Rize.

Air temperatures are expected to decrease by 2 to 6 degrees in the northern and inner parts and in Southeastern Anatolia, with no significant change expected elsewhere.
