According to the latest assessments by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The country is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with intermittent precipitation expected across Marmara, the interior of the Mediterranean, the Western Black Sea, Eastern Anatolia (except Ardahan), the north and east of Southeastern Anatolia, and the vicinities of Adana, Konya, Karaman, Niğde, Sivas, Tokat, Gümüşhane, Bayburt, and Gaziantep, as well as the northern and eastern parts of Şanlıurfa. The precipitation, which is expected to be generally rain and showers, with occasional thunderstorms in the southern and interior parts, and sleet in the high altitudes of Kastamonu and Sinop tomorrow (Friday) night, is expected to be locally heavy in the vicinities of Thrace, Istanbul, Kocaeli, Çanakkale, Yalova, and Tunceli during the night hours. Mist and occasional fog are expected in the east of Marmara, the north of Central Anatolia, and the interior of the Black Sea during the morning and night hours.

Air temperatures, which are currently hovering around seasonal norms across the country, are expected to drop below seasonal norms in the northwestern parts starting from the evening hours.

The wind is expected to blow from the north in the northern parts of the country and from the south in the southern parts, light to occasionally moderate.

MARMARA

It is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with rain and showers across the region. Precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the vicinities of Thrace, Istanbul, Kocaeli, Çanakkale, and Yalova tomorrow (Friday) night. Mist and occasional fog are expected in the east of the region during the morning and night hours.
