According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, the northern, inner, and eastern parts of the country are expected to be partly to very cloudy, with showers and occasional thunderstorms expected in the Taurus Mountains region of the Mediterranean, the eastern part of Central Anatolia, the Central and Eastern Black Sea, the western part of Eastern Anatolia, and the surroundings of Sinop, while sleet is expected in the higher elevations of the northeast of Eastern Anatolia. There is a danger of avalanches, snowmelt, and landslides in the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea and the north and east of Eastern Anatolia.
