According to the assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The country overall will be very cloudy, with intermittent precipitation expected in the Aegean, Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, Central and Eastern Black Sea, Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia regions, as well as the surroundings of Balıkesir, Bursa, Bilecik, Sinop, and Bolu, the eastern parts of Çanakkale, and the northern districts of Kırklareli, Istanbul, and Kocaeli. Precipitation is generally expected to be in the form of rain and downpours, with sleet in the higher elevations of the inner and eastern parts, and snow in the eastern parts of Eastern Anatolia. Precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the eastern parts of Antalya, Hatay, Osmaniye, Erzurum, Ağrı, Bitlis, Tunceli, Bingöl, Muş, Hakkari, Şırnak, Batman, and the surroundings of Siirt, as well as the eastern parts of Adana and the western parts of Kahramanmaraş. Winds are expected to blow strongly (50-70 km/h) from the north and northeast on the coasts of Marmara and the Western Black Sea. Icing and frost are expected in the eastern regions during the morning and night hours. There is a danger of avalanches and snowmelt in the higher elevations of the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea and in the sloping areas with high snow cover in the eastern parts of Eastern Anatolia.
Air temperatures are expected to decrease by 3 to 5 degrees in the inner and western regions, with no significant changes expected elsewhere.
Winds are expected to blow generally from the south and west, and from the north in Marmara and the Western Black Sea, light to occasionally moderate, and occasionally strong (50-70 km/h) on the coasts of Marmara and the Western Black Sea.
