According to assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The country is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with precipitation expected in the Eastern Mediterranean, the south and east of Central Anatolia, Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia, the Eastern Black Sea region, as well as the north of Istanbul, the east of Antalya, and the surroundings of Samsun, Tokat, and Amasya. The precipitation is expected to be in the form of rain and showers, with heavy rainfall in the surroundings of Southeastern Anatolia, the Eastern Mediterranean, Bingöl, Bitlis, Muş, the south of Van, Hakkari, and Şırnak, and in the form of heavy sleet and snow in higher elevations. The wind is expected to blow as a storm in the south of Southeastern Anatolia and in Hatay. Icing and frost are expected in the inner and eastern regions during the night and morning hours, along with fog and localized mist in the Marmara region and inner parts. There is a risk of avalanches and snowmelt in the high inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea region and in the sloped areas of Eastern Anatolia that have a high snow cover.

No significant change is expected in air temperatures, which are forecast to remain above seasonal norms.

The wind is expected to blow generally from the north, and from the south and east in the east of the country, light to occasionally moderate, and as a storm (50-80 km/h, locally up to 90 km/h in Hatay) from the south and southeast in the south of Southeastern Anatolia, and from the west and southwest in Hatay.
