According to the forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The country is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with local showers and thunderstorms expected in the Aegean, Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, Black Sea, Eastern Anatolia (except Van), Southeastern Anatolia, and the surroundings of Balıkesir and Sakarya.

The precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the Inner Aegean, Western Mediterranean, the Taurus section of the Eastern Mediterranean, the inner parts of the Western and Central Black Sea, the northwest of Central Anatolia, and the surroundings of Zonguldak, Bartın, Tunceli, and Bingöl. Haze and occasional fog are expected in the north of Marmara and along the Black Sea coast.

It was stated that there will be no significant change in air temperatures and that they will continue to hover above seasonal norms.

A yellow-coded warning was issued for 20 cities in the MGM's April 24 weather forecast report.

MARMARA

It is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with local showers and thunderstorms in the surroundings of Balıkesir and Sakarya and the southern parts of Bursa during the night hours. Haze and occasional fog are expected in the northern parts.
