According to the forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The country is expected to be mostly cloudy, with intermittent precipitation expected in all regions except the North Aegean coasts, Çanakkale, Van, and Iğdır. Precipitation is expected to be in the form of rain and downpours in the Coastal Aegean, Mediterranean coasts, Central and Eastern Black Sea coasts, the west of Southeastern Anatolia, and the surroundings of Manisa, Denizli, Sinop, Tokat, Batman, and Siirt, and in the form of sleet and snow in other areas receiving precipitation. Precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the Eastern Mediterranean, the east of Antalya, the west of Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia, and the surroundings of Samsun, Ordu, Tokat, Giresun, Trabzon, Gümüşhane, Bayburt, Bingöl, and Diyarbakır. Icing and frost are expected in Marmara and the inner and eastern regions during the night and morning hours. There is an avalanche danger in the high slopes with deep snow cover in the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea and the east of Eastern Anatolia.

Air temperatures are expected to decrease significantly in the northern, inner, and western parts.

The wind is expected to blow lightly and moderately from the south in general, and from the north in the northwestern parts; it is expected to blow strongly with short-term storms (40-70 km/h) from the north and northeast in Marmara and the North Aegean coasts, and from the south in Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia, and as a strong storm (70-90 km/h) from the south in the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea.

A yellow alert was issued for 41 provinces in the MGM report.

HEAVY RAIN WARNING: Since precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the Eastern Mediterranean, the east of Antalya, the west of Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia, and the surroundings of Samsun, Ordu, Tokat, Giresun, Trabzon, Gümüşhane, Bayburt, Bingöl, and Diyarbakır, it is necessary to be careful and take precautions against potential negative conditions (such as disruptions in transportation, floods, inundations, lightning, local small-scale hail, icing and frost in areas with snowfall, and blizzards).

STRONG WIND WARNING: Since the wind is expected to blow strongly with short-term storms (40-70 km/h) from the north and northeast in Marmara and the North Aegean coasts, and from the south in Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia, and as a strong storm (70-90 km/h) from the south in the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea, it is necessary to be careful and take precautions against negative conditions such as trees and poles falling, roofs blowing off, the risk of stove and natural gas-related flue gas poisoning, and disruptions in transportation.

ICING AND FROST WARNING: Since icing and frost, along with haze and occasional fog, are expected in the inner and eastern parts of our country during the night and morning hours, it is necessary to be careful and take precautions against potential negative conditions.

AVALANCHE DANGER: There is an avalanche danger in the high slopes with deep snow cover in the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea and the east of Eastern Anatolia.
