According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM), the northern, inner, and western parts of the country are expected to be partly to very cloudy, with local showers and thunderstorms expected in the Marmara, Aegean, Mediterranean, Central Anatolia (except Sivas), Western Black Sea (except Sinop), Eastern Black Sea coasts, and the surroundings of Corum and Amasya, while other areas are expected to be slightly cloudy and clear.

The precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the northwest of Central Anatolia, the inner parts of the Western Black Sea, and the surroundings of Istanbul, Kirklareli, Tekirdag, Canakkale, Bilecik, Afyonkarahisar, Kutahya, Osmaniye, the north and east of Adana, the west of Kahramanmaras, and the coastal parts of Hatay. Dust transport is expected to be seen locally in Southeastern Anatolia.

HEAVY RAIN WARNING

Since the precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the northwest of Central Anatolia, the inner parts of the Western Black Sea, and the surroundings of Istanbul, Kirklareli, Tekirdag, Canakkale, Bilecik, Afyonkarahisar, Kutahya, Osmaniye, the north and east of Adana, the west of Kahramanmaras, and the coastal parts of Hatay, it is necessary to be careful and take precautions against negative conditions such as flash floods, flooding, lightning, local hail, and strong winds during precipitation.
