According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: It is estimated that the country will be generally very cloudy and rainy. Precipitation is expected to be generally in the form of rain and downpours, and in the form of sleet and snow in the high altitudes of the inner parts of the Western and Eastern Black Sea regions and in the north and east of Eastern Anatolia. Precipitation is estimated to be locally heavy in the eastern parts of Southeastern Anatolia and in the surroundings of Bingöl, Şırnak, Hakkari, and Şanlıurfa. Icing and frost are expected in the east of Eastern Anatolia during the morning and night hours. There is a danger of avalanches and snowmelt in sloping areas with high snow cover in the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea region and the east of Eastern Anatolia.

Air temperatures are expected to increase by 3 to 5 degrees in the western parts of the country, with no significant changes expected elsewhere.

The wind is expected to blow generally from the south, and from the north in the western parts of the country, at light to occasionally moderate strength.
