According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The country is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with precipitation expected in the Marmara region (except Edirne and Çanakkale), the inner parts of the Northern Aegean, the east of the Eastern Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, the Western Black Sea, the surroundings of Çorum, the Eastern Black Sea, and Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia. The precipitation, which will generally be in the form of rain and downpours, and sleet and occasional snow in the east of Eastern Anatolia, is expected to be heavy in the east of Marmara, the west of the Western Black Sea, the southeast of Eastern Anatolia, and the surroundings of Siirt, Batman, Rize, Artvin, and Ardahan. The wind is expected to blow strongly (40-60 km/h) from southerly directions in the east of the Eastern Mediterranean. There is a danger of avalanches and snowmelt in sloping areas with high snow cover in the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea and in Eastern Anatolia.

Air temperatures are expected to rise by 3 to 5 degrees on the western coasts and decrease by 5 to 7 degrees in the Eastern Black Sea, with no significant changes expected elsewhere.

The wind is expected to blow lightly, occasionally at moderate strength, from southerly and westerly directions, and strongly (40-60 km/h) in the east of the Eastern Mediterranean.
