According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: It is estimated that the country will be mostly cloudy, with precipitation expected across the Aegean, Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, Black Sea, Eastern Anatolia (excluding Van and Iğdır), Southeastern Anatolia, and the surroundings of Balıkesir, Yalova, Bursa, Bilecik, and Sakarya. The precipitation, which will generally be in the form of rain and downpours, and sleet and occasional snow in the higher inner parts of the Western and Eastern Black Sea and the higher parts of Eastern Anatolia, is expected to be locally heavy in the Eastern Mediterranean, Eastern Black Sea, the northern parts of Eastern Anatolia, and the surroundings of Kayseri, Sivas, Malatya, Muş, and Bingöl. The wind is expected to blow strongly (40-60 km/h) from northerly directions in Marmara, Inner Aegean, Western Black Sea, and the northwest of Central Anatolia, and from southerly directions in the east and inland parts of the Mediterranean and the south and east of Central Anatolia. There is a danger of avalanches and snowmelt in sloping areas with high snow cover in the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea and in Eastern Anatolia.

Air temperatures are expected to decrease significantly (by 3 to 7 degrees) in the northern and inland parts, with no significant changes expected elsewhere.

The wind is expected to be generally light to occasionally moderate from southerly directions, and from northerly directions in the western parts, blowing strongly (40-60 km/h) in Marmara, Inner Aegean, Western Black Sea, and the northwest of Central Anatolia, as well as in the east and inland parts of the Mediterranean and the south and east of Central Anatolia.
