According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The country is expected to be mostly cloudy, with intermittent precipitation expected across the Marmara region, northern and inner Aegean, Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, Western Black Sea (except Sinop), the inner parts of the Central Black Sea, Eastern Anatolia (except Kars and Ardahan), Southeastern Anatolia, and the surroundings of Bayburt. Precipitation is expected to be generally in the form of rain and downpours, with sleet and snow in the inner parts of the Black Sea, the northern and eastern parts of Eastern Anatolia, and the higher elevations of the Mediterranean, Aegean, and northern parts of Central Anatolia. Heavy precipitation is expected in the surroundings of Diyarbakır, Mardin, Batman, and Şırnak, the south of Bingöl and Muş, the surroundings of Mersin, Adana, and Hatay, and the west of Kahramanmaraş and Osmaniye. Icing and frost are expected in the higher elevations of the inner regions and in the east during the night and morning hours. Winds are expected to blow strongly (40-60 km/h) from northerly directions in Marmara and the coastal Aegean, and from southeasterly directions in the east of Central Anatolia. There is a danger of avalanches and snowmelt in the higher elevations of the inner Eastern Black Sea region and in the sloping areas of Eastern Anatolia with deep snow cover.

Air temperatures are expected to rise by 3 to 5 degrees in the inner parts of the Black Sea and in Marmara, with no significant changes expected elsewhere.

Winds are expected to be generally southerly, light to occasionally moderate in the western parts, and strong (40-60 km/h) from the north in the east of Marmara and the coastal Aegean, and from the south in the east of Central Anatolia.
