Meteorology and AKOM had warned: Downpour has entered from the European Side

Following warnings from the General Directorate of Meteorology and AKOM, heavy rainfall has begun to affect some regions of the city.

While it was observed that the downpour was effective in Istanbul's Fatih and Beyoğlu districts, information was provided that the storm cells have entered the Bosphorus.

According to the warnings issued by AKOM, the megacity will be affected by rainfall that will strengthen in places today.

While it was stated that the downpour has begun to show its effect in the northern districts of Istanbul, the warning issued by AKOM included the following statements:

"Attention Istanbul residents!

According to AKOM data, strong thunderstorm passages are expected across the province from tomorrow (Tuesday) morning until noon.
