According to forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The southeastern parts of Eastern Anatolia and the eastern parts of Southeastern Anatolia are expected to be partly to occasionally very cloudy, with rain in the vicinity of Şırnak and Hakkari and the southern parts of Denizli, and sleet in the high altitudes of Hakkari, while other places are expected to be mostly clear and sunny. Icing and frost are expected in the east of Eastern Anatolia during the morning and night hours, and mist and local fog are expected in the interior and eastern parts, as well as along the coasts of Marmara and the Western Black Sea. There is an avalanche danger in the high altitudes of the interior of the Eastern Black Sea region and on the high and sloping hillsides of Eastern Anatolia.

Air temperatures are expected to rise by 3 to 5 degrees in Southeastern Anatolia, with no significant changes elsewhere, and are expected to remain above seasonal norms across the country.

Due to icing and frost in the east of Eastern Anatolia and the avalanche danger in the interior of the Eastern Black Sea region and on the high and sloping hillsides of Eastern Anatolia, those concerned and our citizens must be careful and take precautions against landslides, disruptions in transportation, and negative consequences related to snowmelt.
