Meteorology announces: Air temperatures are rising, heavy rain will continue

According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The country is expected to be partly to occasionally very cloudy, with rain and heavy rain forecast for the Marmara region, the coastal Aegean, the Western Black Sea, the inland parts of the Central Black Sea, and the surroundings of Manisa, Antalya, Hatay, Ankara, Çankırı, Mardin, Batman, Siirt, and Şırnak, as well as the inland parts of Mersin. There is a risk of avalanches and snowmelt in sloping areas with high snow cover in the inland parts of the Eastern Black Sea and Eastern Anatolia.

Air temperatures are expected to rise by 4 to 6 degrees in the southern, central, and western parts of the country, with no significant changes expected elsewhere.

The wind is generally expected to blow from southern directions, light to occasionally moderate in strength.
