According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: the northern, inner, and eastern parts of the country are expected to be partly to very cloudy; it is estimated that Thrace, the inner parts of the Western and Central Mediterranean, Eastern Anatolia (except Ardahan and Erzincan), Southeastern Anatolia (except Mardin), and the surroundings of Istanbul and Hatay will experience showers and occasional thunderstorms, while the higher elevations of eastern Eastern Anatolia will see sleet. 

There is a danger of avalanches, snowmelt, and landslides in the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea region and the northern and eastern parts of Eastern Anatolia. Temperatures are expected to decrease by 2 to 4 degrees in the western and eastern parts, with no significant change elsewhere. The wind is expected to blow from northern directions, light to occasionally moderate.

Caution and precautions should be taken as there is a danger of avalanches, snowmelt, and landslide risks on sloping terrain with high snow cover in the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea region and the northern and eastern parts of Eastern Anatolia.
