The General Directorate of Meteorology's latest assessments indicate that the country will be partly to occasionally very cloudy, with local downpours and thunderstorms expected in the interior of the Mediterranean, the south of Central Anatolia, and the surroundings of Afyonkarahisar, Ankara, Çankırı, Kars, Ardahan, Bitlis, Van, Hakkari, Gaziantep, and Kilis. Dust transport is expected in the south of Marmara, the Aegean, and the Western Mediterranean.
