Meteorology issues dust transport and rain warning

According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: It is estimated that the inner parts and the southwest of our country will be partly to very cloudy, with short-term local showers expected after midday in the high parts of the Western Black Sea, the north of Central Anatolia, and the Taurus Mountains region of the Eastern Mediterranean, while other places will be partly to mostly clear, and dust transport will be observed in the southern parts of the country. There is a risk of avalanches and snowmelt in sloping areas with high snow cover in the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea and the east of Eastern Anatolia.

Air temperatures are not expected to change significantly and are forecast to remain above seasonal norms across the country.

The wind is expected to blow generally from the north, and from the south in the southeastern parts of the country, light to occasionally moderate.
