Meteorology issues heavy rain warning for numerous provinces

According to the latest evaluations made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: It is estimated that the northern, inner, and eastern parts of our country will be partly to occasionally very cloudy, with local showers and thunderstorms expected in the Thrace region, the Taurus Mountains area of the Eastern Mediterranean, Western and Eastern Black Sea, the inner and high parts of the Central Black Sea, and the northeast of Eastern Anatolia, while other places are expected to be slightly cloudy and clear.

Air temperatures are expected to rise by 2 to 4 degrees in the inner and western parts, with no significant change expected elsewhere.

The wind is expected to blow generally from the north, and from the south in the eastern parts, light to occasionally moderate, and strong (40-60 km/h) from the south in the eastern part of Eastern Anatolia.

It is estimated to be partly and slightly cloudy, becoming very cloudy in places over time, with local showers and thunderstorms expected in the Thrace region in the afternoon and evening hours.
