Meteorology issues thunderstorm warning for 15 provinces
The General Directorate of Meteorology has shared the weather report for May 29. According to the report, thunderstorms are expected in Edirne, Kırklareli, Adana, Antalya, Burdur, Ankara, Konya, Sivas, Kastamonu, Sinop, Ordu, Samsun, Tokat, Trabzon, and Kars.

According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM); the country is expected to be partly to very cloudy in places, with local showers and thunderstorms expected in the Thrace region, the inland parts of the Western Mediterranean and the Toros Mountains area, Central Anatolia (except Eskişehir), the Central Black Sea region, Kastamonu, Artvin, Ardahan, Kars, and the surroundings of Hakkari, as well as the inland parts of Rize and Trabzon.
Air temperatures are expected to remain around seasonal norms in the western and inland parts, and above seasonal norms in the eastern parts.
WIND
The wind is generally expected to blow from southerly directions, light to occasionally moderate, and locally strong (40-60 km/h) in Eastern Anatolia and the east of Southeastern Anatolia.
STRONG WIND WARNING
As the wind is expected to blow strongly (40-60 km/h) from southerly directions in Eastern Anatolia and the east of Southeastern Anatolia, caution and vigilance should be exercised against potential negative consequences.
