The General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM) stated that temperatures across the country will decrease by 3 to 5 degrees over the weekend.
In a statement released by the MGM, a warning was issued regarding the possibility of localized heavy rainfall and strong winds.
WARNING FOR MARMARA AND WESTERN BLACK SEA
The following was noted in the MGM's statement:
"Due to the expectation of localized heavy rainfall in the eastern part of the Marmara region, the Western Black Sea, and the surroundings of Tekirdağ, citizens should be careful and take precautions against potential negative consequences. As strong winds from southern directions are expected in the southeast of Eastern Anatolia during the afternoon hours, caution and precautions should be taken against potential negative consequences."
