According to the assessments of the General Directorate of Meteorology, it is estimated that the country will be partly to very cloudy, with rain and showers expected in the Black Sea coastal areas, Southeastern Anatolia (except for Gaziantep and Kilis), and the surroundings of Osmaniye and Hatay, while sleet and snow are expected in the eastern part of Central Anatolia, the inner parts of the Black Sea, and Eastern Anatolia. The precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the coastal areas of the Eastern Black Sea, Ordu, and Artvin, and starting from the evening hours in the surroundings of Batman, Mardin, Siirt, and Şırnak. Icing and frost are expected in the inner and eastern regions during the morning and night hours, and fog and mist are expected in the Marmara region as well as the inner and western parts. There is a danger of avalanches and snowmelt in the high-altitude inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea and in the sloping areas of Eastern Anatolia that have a high snow cover.

It is estimated that air temperatures will decrease by 2 to 4 degrees in the inner and eastern parts, and there will be no significant change in other places.

The wind is expected to blow generally from northern directions, light to occasionally moderate, and strong (40-60 km/h) in the inner parts of the Mediterranean, the south of Central Anatolia, and the west of Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia.
