Meteorology issues warning: Scorching heat to rise by another 3 degrees! Expert provides date and time, advises 'do not go outside'

According to forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The northeastern parts of the country are expected to be partly cloudy, with local thundershowers in Ağrı and the northeast of Van, while other areas are expected to be mostly clear and sunny.

Air temperatures are expected to rise by 1 to 3 degrees in inland areas and continue to hover above seasonal norms across the country.

The wind is generally expected to blow from northerly directions, light to occasionally moderate in strength.

Meteorology Expert Prof. Dr. Orhan Şen announced that Turkey is currently the hottest country in Europe. Stating that the heatwave will increase its effect, especially in Central Anatolia and the northern regions of the Aegean and Mediterranean, Şen issued important warnings.

In his assessment to CNN Türk, Prof. Dr. Şen stated, "Starting from Monday, temperatures in Ankara could rise to 41-42 degrees, and could even reach 43 degrees. For this reason, residents of Ankara should avoid going outside if possible, especially on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday."

In addition to Ankara, similar temperature values are expected to be measured in cities such as Konya, Eskişehir, Kütahya, Uşak, Çankırı, and Yozgat.

Stating that air temperatures in Antalya will drop below 44-45 degrees as the wind loses its effect, Orhan Şen said that thermometers in Istanbul will show 35 degrees.
