According to the latest evaluations made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, it is estimated that the northeastern part of the country, and over time the northern and inner parts, will be partly to very cloudy. In the evening and night hours, precipitation is expected in the Eastern Black Sea region, the east of Bolu, the south of Karabük, Kastamonu, Sinop, Çankırı, Çorum, Sivas, the western districts of Samsun, Kars, Ardahan, and the northern surroundings of Erzurum, as well as the Taurus Mountains section of the Eastern Mediterranean, while other places are expected to be mostly clear and sunny. 

The precipitation is expected to be local and generally in the form of rain and showers, and in the form of sleet and snow in the northern surroundings of Kars, Ardahan, and Erzurum at night. There is a risk of avalanches, snowmelt, and landslides in the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea region and in the north and east of Eastern Anatolia.
