According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: It is estimated that the Aegean, Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, the interior parts of the Western Black Sea, the west of Eastern Anatolia, Southeastern Anatolia (except Siirt), as well as the surroundings of Sakarya, Bilecik, Çorum, Ordu, Giresun, Trabzon, Gümüşhane, Bayburt, Erzurum, Bingöl, and Muş will experience intermittent showers and occasional thunderstorms. The rainfall is expected to be locally heavy in the eastern parts of Antalya, the west of Southeastern Anatolia, and the surroundings of Elazığ and Tunceli. Winds are expected to blow strongly (40-60 km/h) from northerly directions in Marmara, and from southeasterly directions in the Eastern Mediterranean and the surroundings of Kayseri and Niğde. Dust transport is expected in the southern and western parts of our country. There is a danger of avalanches and snowmelt in sloping areas with high snow cover in the interior parts of the Eastern Black Sea and in Eastern Anatolia.
It is estimated that there will be no significant change in air temperatures, and they will remain above seasonal norms across the country.
