Yellow alert for 5 provinces from Meteorology: Rain, snow, and strong winds are coming!

According to the assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The northern and eastern parts of the country are expected to be partly to very cloudy, with precipitation expected in the coastal areas of the Central and Eastern Black Sea, the southeast of Eastern Anatolia, and the east of Southeastern Anatolia. Precipitation is expected to be in the form of rain on the coasts, and sleet and snow in the interior. Mist and local fog are expected in the morning hours in Marmara, Inner Aegean, Central Anatolia, and the interior parts of the Black Sea. There is a risk of avalanches and snowmelt in the high interior parts of the Eastern Black Sea and in the sloping areas of Eastern Anatolia that have a high snow cover.

Air temperatures are expected to remain around seasonal norms.

The wind is expected to blow generally from northerly directions, light to occasionally moderate, and locally strong (30-50 km/h) in the west of Marmara and the northern Aegean coasts.
