Ministry of Interior issues yellow alert for 6 provinces!
Based on data from the General Directorate of Meteorology, the Ministry of Interior has issued a yellow-coded warning for 6 provinces and their surrounding areas. Citizens have been urged to take precautions against the risks of flash floods, inundation, hail, and lightning due to the expectation of strong thunderstorms.

In line with the latest assessments by the General Directorate of Meteorology, a yellow-coded meteorological warning has been issued due to strong thunderstorms expected to be effective in certain regions.
In a statement made by the Ministry of Interior, it was stated that locally strong downpours are expected in the vicinity of Isparta and Burdur, the inland parts of Antalya, the south and east of Denizli, the south of Afyonkarahisar, and the southwestern districts of Konya.
In the post shared on the ministry's social media account, a map showing the provinces marked with a yellow code was also shared with the public.
The statement included the following expressions:
"According to the latest information received from the General Directorate of Meteorology, locally strong thunderstorms are expected in the vicinity of Isparta and Burdur, the inland parts of Antalya, the south and east of Denizli, the south of Afyonkarahisar, and the southwestern districts of Konya. We strongly remind our citizens to be careful and cautious against negative conditions such as flash floods, inundation, lightning, local hail, and strong winds during precipitation; and to take the warnings of the authorized bodies into account."
