According to data from the Istanbul Water and Sewerage Administration (ISKI) dated July 2, 2026, the general occupancy rate of the dams in the city was recorded at 63.33 percent. The occupancy rate, which had risen to the 70 percent level with spring rains, has fallen below 65 percent as temperatures have increased.

In ISKI data, the highest occupancy rates were seen in the Ömerli, Elmalı, and Darlık dams. The water level was announced as 89.16 percent in Ömerli, 88.79 percent in Elmalı, and 81.44 percent in Darlık.

According to the data, the occupancy rate was measured at 51.81 percent in Terkos Dam, 59.44 percent in Alibey Dam, and 46.01 percent in Büyükçekmece. The rate was 38.46 percent in Sazlıdere, 38.05 percent in Pabuçdere, 42.10 percent in Kazandere, and 26.63 percent in Istrancalar.
