Republic Dive to be held at 134 different points from Artvin to Hatay: The center of the dive is Dolmabahçe Palace!
The Respect for the Depths Diving Community has announced that more than 1,000 divers will go underwater at 134 separate locations between October 21 and 22 for the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey, proving their loyalty to the Republic and its founder, the Great Atatürk.

The Respect for the Depths Diving Community will host a significant event for the 100th anniversary of the Republic.

In a statement made by the community, it was stated: "Founded by divers who strive to protect the seas while reminding us of national values forgotten underwater, the Respect for the Depths Diving Community is preparing to sign off on the largest dive ever held in Turkey. Surpassing the goal of diving at 100 separate points, the event will take place in 134 separate locations in the 100th year of the Republic of Turkey, which was founded by the Great Leader Atatürk following our National War of Independence."
"THE CENTER IS IN FRONT OF DOLMABAHÇE PALACE"
Gökhan Karakaş, Vice President of the Respect for the Depths Diving Community, announced that the center of the dive would be in front of Dolmabahçe Palace and stated the following:
“We will descend into the depths to protect the fundamental gains of our glorious Republic, which was established with great difficulties, and to maintain our national unity. The center of this dive, which has never been realized in Turkey before, will be in front of Dolmabahçe Palace, where our Ancestor closed his eyes.”
Diving Instructor Kadir Ekinci stated that they would dive in the Nemrut Crater Lake, located at an altitude of 2,650 meters in Bitlis-Tatvan, while Diving Instructor Savaş Yapman said they would be diving in Fethiye.
YASEMİN DALKILIÇ WILL ALSO PARTICIPATE
Turkey's first female free-diving record holder, Yasemin Dalkılıç, will participate in the dive from the US state of Florida. Underwater documentary producer Savaş Karakaş will support the Republic Dive from the depths of Fethiye. Additionally, the event will feature the premiere of an anthem and songs specially prepared for the 100th anniversary by the young and productive voice of rap music, Erhan Tozkoparan (Yankee), and Turkish pop and Latin music singer Ege.
