Roads in Osmaniye have turned into lakes due to heavy rainfall. Some roads have been closed to vehicle traffic.

Osmaniye was hit by a downpour in the evening hours, which negatively affected life in the city center.
Due to the heavy rainfall, which lasted for about an hour, water accumulated on many streets and avenues on Musa Şahin Boulevard, and workplaces were flooded. Drivers and pedestrians had a difficult time due to the water accumulated on the roads.
The Devlet Bahçeli Underpass was closed to traffic in both directions due to water accumulation.
Osmaniye Mayor İbrahim Çenet, who inspected the work being carried out at the underpass, said, “Following the sudden rainfall that began in the evening, we experienced flooding in our neighborhoods and the city center. Our municipality's Water and Sewerage Affairs, Science Affairs, Cleaning Affairs, and Fire Department staff are in the field with all their equipment. They are working devotedly to resolve the negative situations. We are carrying out the evacuation of the rainwater accumulated in the underpass. Our teams are on alert in the field.
