STATEMENT ON INTERVENTION FROM MINISTER YERLIKAYA
Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya, in his statement regarding the response to the forest fires in Bursa and Karabük, said, "We are responding to the fires in Bursa with 6 planes and 4 helicopters, and in Karabük with 3 planes and 16 helicopters."
Minister Yerlikaya also stated that 1,839 citizens have been evacuated from Karabük to safe areas.

Saying, "We are continuing our fight against the fires for our forests, for our lives, and for our homeland in Karabük," Yerlikaya expressed that efforts regarding the fire in the region are ongoing and that they are conducting the intervention with 1,386 personnel and 389 vehicles.
