Görür stated the following:

"A shallow earthquake with a magnitude of 4.7 occurred in the region where the Doğanşehir-Sürgü faults intersect in Küçüklü, Doğanşehir, Malatya. The fault zone between Doğanşehir and Malatya is producing small earthquakes from time to time due to stress transfer; caution should be exercised. Get well soon."
