Temperatures are dropping: Meteorological warning for thunderstorms in many cities

According to the latest forecasts from the General Directorate of Meteorology, rain and thunderstorms will be effective in the northern, inner, and eastern parts of the country. While precipitation warnings have been issued for many provinces, particularly in the Black Sea, Eastern Anatolia, and Inner Aegean regions, air temperatures are expected to hover 3 to 5 degrees below seasonal norms in the northeastern and eastern regions.

According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: It is estimated that the northern, inner, and eastern parts of our country will be partly to very cloudy, with intermittent rain and thunderstorms expected in the west of Thrace, the northeast of Central Anatolia, the eastern parts of Southeastern Anatolia, the Black Sea (except Düzce and Zonguldak), and Eastern Anatolia, as well as the surroundings of Adana, Osmaniye, and Kahramanmaraş, and from the night hours onwards in the Inner Aegean and the surroundings of Bursa and Balıkesir.

Air temperatures are expected to be 3 to 5 degrees below seasonal norms in the northeastern and eastern parts of the country, and around seasonal norms elsewhere.

The wind is expected to blow generally from northerly directions, light to occasionally moderate in strength.

It is estimated to be partly to very cloudy, with intermittent rain and thunderstorms expected in the west of Thrace and, from the night hours onwards, in the surroundings of Balıkesir and Bursa.
