While Istanbul experienced a pleasant spring-like atmosphere with temperatures around 22 degrees this Sunday, the latest weather forecasts from the Disaster Coordination Center (AKOM) indicate that cool winds will be effective throughout the week. The city is expected to see partly cloudy and occasionally overcast skies for most of the new week.

According to the statement from AKOM, temperatures will range between 14 and 17 degrees due to the effect of winds blowing from the north, and the days will gradually become cooler. No precipitation is expected on Monday and Tuesday, and the weather will generally be clear. On both days, thermometers will show a high of 17 degrees.

Wednesday will be the warmest day of the week, with temperatures rising to 19 degrees. However, thermometers will drop again on Thursday, falling to 14 degrees. While Wednesday will be partially milder and partly cloudy, cloud cover will increase on Thursday.

Weather conditions will change starting Friday. As the sky becomes covered with dense clouds, light rain showers are expected on Friday, May 1st. AKOM noted that these rains will be light, ranging between 3 and 7 kilograms. On the last working day of the week, the temperature will reach a maximum of 15 degrees.

On Saturday, the clouds will begin to disperse and as the rain leaves the city, the weather will continue to be partly cloudy and cool. The temperature is expected to rise back to 17 degrees.
