Nature photographers, who say they come every year to photograph the crown imperials, stated that the flowers bloomed 10 days early this year due to temperatures being above seasonal norms.
Photographer Mehmet Emin Tan said, “Today, we came here with fellow nature enthusiasts for the scenery of the crown imperials located in the Afşin district. Some of the crown imperials have bloomed, while others are still in bud. Some of the tulips found here are yellow. The crown imperials are in harmony. Our tulips are in the most hidden places of nature. The interest and attention from our nature photographers is wonderful. They value them highly. They come on certain days of the year and take shots of our crown imperials, our 'weeping brides'."
Stating that they bloomed 10 days early this year due to temperatures being above seasonal norms, Mehmet Gören said, “Crown imperials bloom in the first week of April and begin to shed their flowers in the 3rd week. They are known for their vibrant yellow, orange to red colors and tones, and the cluster of bright green leaves scattered on top,” he said.
