According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology; the northern and eastern parts of the country are expected to be partly to very cloudy, with local showers and thunderstorms expected in the east of the Eastern Mediterranean, the Taurus Mountains region, the Eastern Black Sea, the north of Eastern Anatolia, the west of Southeastern Anatolia, the surroundings of Malatya and Ordu, and in the east of Samsun during the morning hours, while other areas are expected to be partly to mostly clear.

The report stated that there is a risk of avalanches on sloping terrain with high snow cover in the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea and in the north and east of Eastern Anatolia.
