Turkey is burning! 3 neighborhoods evacuated due to forest fire

The Bursa Metropolitan Municipality has announced that it has been decided to evacuate the neighborhoods of Çamoğlu, Ilıcaksu, and Dutluca in the Harmancık district, where forest fires pose a danger. The municipality has taken various measures to ensure the safe evacuation of citizens living in these villages.

In a statement made by the municipality, it was stated, "Due to the ongoing forest fires, it has been decided to evacuate the Çamoğlu, Ilıcaksu, and Dutluca neighborhoods in our Harmancık district. Necessary efforts have been initiated for the evacuation of our citizens living in these villages".

FIGHT AGAINST THE FIRE CONTINUES

While thanking all teams fighting the forest fires, it was stated that fire extinguishing and cooling efforts are continuing rapidly. The municipality announced that 16 vehicles and teams belonging to BURULAŞ have been dispatched to the region to reach areas where the fire poses a danger and to transport citizens to safe areas.

Furthermore, the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality emphasized that all citizens should be careful and comply with safety measures in the fight against forest fires.

The statement made by the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality included the following: 

"Due to the ongoing forest fires, it has been decided to evacuate our Çamoğlu, Ilıcaksu, and Dutluca neighborhoods, which are considered to be at risk in our Harmancık district, and to evacuate our citizens living in these villages. Our 16 vehicles and teams belonging to our subsidiary BURULAŞ are in the region to ensure the evacuation of our citizens. We owe a debt of gratitude to all the teams who have been working selflessly in the fight against the fires since yesterday, and we wish them ease in the ongoing extinguishing and cooling efforts."
