According to the latest forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology; the country is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with precipitation expected in the south and east of the Marmara region, the Aegean (except Manisa and İzmir), the Mediterranean, the south and west of Central Anatolia, as well as in the surroundings of Tekirdağ, Kırklareli, Kayseri, Kırşehir, Nevşehir, Bolu, Düzce, the east of Trabzon, the surroundings of Rize, the coastal districts of Artvin, the surroundings of Gaziantep, Kilis, Adıyaman, and the western parts of Şanlıurfa.

The precipitation, which will generally be in the form of rain and showers, and sleet and snow in the inner and higher parts, is expected to be locally heavy in the east of Muğla, the surroundings of Antalya and Mersin, and the west of Adana. The wind is expected to blow strongly (40-60 km/h) from northerly directions in the Marmara and coastal Aegean regions. Icing and frost, along with mist and fog, are expected in the inner and eastern parts of the country. There is an avalanche danger on the high slopes of the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea and the high and steep slopes of Eastern Anatolia.

Air temperatures are expected to remain around seasonal norms with no significant changes.
