According to the forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The coasts of the Black Sea and Eastern Anatolia are expected to be partly to very cloudy, with light rain expected in the vicinity of Artvin in the early hours of this morning, light snowfall in the vicinity of Kars, and clear to partly cloudy skies elsewhere. Haze and occasional fog are expected in the interior and eastern parts of the country, along with icing and frost. There is a risk of avalanches on the high slopes of the interior of the Eastern Black Sea region and the high and steep slopes of Eastern Anatolia.

Air temperatures are expected to rise by 2 to 4 degrees in the northwestern parts, with no significant changes elsewhere; temperatures are expected to remain above seasonal norms in the southern parts and around seasonal norms in other areas.
