According to the latest forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: It is estimated that the country will be partly to very cloudy, with intermittent precipitation expected across the Marmara region, the coastal parts of the Aegean and Western Mediterranean, the northeast of Central Anatolia, the west of the Western Black Sea, the Eastern Black Sea, and Eastern Anatolia (except for Şırnak and Iğdır), as well as the surroundings of Burdur and Denizli.

Precipitation is expected to be in the form of rain and downpours in the coastal areas and the west of the country, and sleet and snow in the eastern and inland parts, with it expected to be locally heavy in the surroundings of Istanbul, Kocaeli, and Yalova during the night hours. It is estimated that there will be icing and frost in the inner and eastern parts of our country, along with haze and local fog. There is an avalanche danger in the high parts of the inner Eastern Black Sea region and on the high and steep slopes of Eastern Anatolia.

Air temperatures are expected to be around seasonal norms in the northeastern parts of the country and 4 to 9 degrees above normal in other places.

MARMARA

Partly to, over time, very cloudy, with rain and downpours during the night hours. Precipitation in the surroundings of Istanbul, Kocaeli, and İzmit is expected to be locally heavy. Haze and local fog events are expected across the region in the morning hours.
