According to the latest forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: It is estimated that the northern, inner, and western parts of our country will be partly to very cloudy, with precipitation expected in the Marmara, Aegean, Western Mediterranean, western Central Anatolia, Western and Central Black Sea regions, as well as the surroundings of Giresun, Aksaray, Yozgat, and Kırşehir. While the precipitation is expected to be rain and showers, and sleet and snow in the inner parts of the Black Sea, the north of Central Anatolia, and the high altitudes of the Western Mediterranean, it is expected to be heavy in the surroundings of İzmir, Aydın, Zonguldak, and Bartın, as well as the coasts of Kastamonu; and severe in the surroundings of Muğla. Haze and fog are expected in the inner and eastern parts of our country, along with icing and frost. There is a risk of avalanches in the high altitudes of the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea and on the high and steep slopes of Eastern Anatolia.

It is estimated that air temperatures will be 3 to 5 degrees below average in the northeastern parts of the country, with no significant changes elsewhere.

Meteorology issued yellow and orange code warnings for 3 cities today. While yellow code warnings were issued for İzmir and Aydın, and an orange code warning for Muğla, citizens were urged to be cautious against floods and inundations.
